how do I incorporate a smoosh oil serum, into my current skincare routine?
you can use your smoosh oil serum in place of a moisturiser or if you are feeling particularly dry, boost your moisturiser by adding in a few drops.
if using actives like acid toners, acid serums, vitamin c, or retinol, apply your smoosh oil serum after these.
in the day, follow your smoosh oil serum with an SPF of your choice.
I have sensitive skin, will smoosh suit me?
smoosh oil serums were designed to be sensitive skin friendly. they are free from synthetic fragrance, synthetic colour, essentials oils, preservatives, phthalates, glycols, sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals, silicones, PEGS, TEA, DEA. However, sensitive skin is unpredictable, we recommend patch testing on the inside of your wrist, before use.
are smoosh products vegan and cruelty free?
all smoosh products are vegan and cruelty free. we only test our products on willing humans.
I applied my oil serum as directed but my skin still feels dry and tight.
our oil serums absorb quickest when skin is damp. after cleansing or misting is a great time to smoosh. three to four drops massaged into damp skin should leave skin supple, bouncy and moisturised never greasy. if skin is still feeling tight, which can happen when skin is particularly dry or compromised, go back in and smoosh on a drop or two more.
do smoosh products contain added fragrance or essential oils?
all smoosh skin products are free from added fragrance or essential oils. the aromas of our products are pure, unadulterated natural plant oils.
how should I store my face oil serum?
all smoosh products are made in small batches to ensure optimum freshness. to get the best out of your smoosh products it is important to give them a bit of extra care. keep your smoosh between 5-30C, out of direct sunlight and use within 6 months of opening.
